2025 Washington State Fair Volunteer - Friday 9/19

Help us staff the Try Archery booth at the Washington State Fair! Volunteers will get gate admission and a parking pass for the day they volunteer. There will be three 4 hour shifts per day. This will give you ample time to enjoy the fair either before or after your scheduled shift. Instructor certification is not required to volunteer.
The daily shifts are:
9:30 am - 1:30 pm - This shift will include getting the booth set up for the day
1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
5:30 pm - 9:30 pm - This shift will include putting the equipment away for the night
Registration closes 1 day before the event. Email education@skookumarchers.com for last-minute additions.

2025 Halloween Benefit Shoot

For many years now, our youth team, the Skookum Rangers, has helped put on our annual Halloween Fun Shoot. This year we decided to combine our Cancer Benefit Shoot and the Halloween shoot into one event with all proceeds from the event being donated to support cancer patients. Little did we know at the time one of our own would get the news every parent dreads. This year we are dedicating event proceeds to the Hillius family. Tanner was a Skookum Ranger and member of our club for many years, his 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia. They have uprooted the entire family to be close to Levi as he is treated at St. Judes Childrens Hospital in Memphis. We'll be donating everything from the tournament & concessions to help his family with expenses.
You can pre-register for the tournament if you plan to attend or you can choose the donate only option to make a donation without shooting.
On-site registration starts at 9:00 am and you can start shooting at any time after that. The tricks will be on the range and the treats will be in the clubhouse when you finish. This fun shoot is open to all ages.
We will set up 28 spooky-themed targets on two of our walk-thru courses and will decorate up the clubhouse as well.
We will also have an option available if you are new to archery or don't have your own equipment. For an extra fee you can rent one of our bows and shoot the special 3D targets on our members range. Instructors will be available to help get you started.
Tournament Fee: $20
Family Max: $65 (does not include equipment rental)
Equipment Rental: $10 per person
